How do you design a media wall?
Our design process begins with an in-person consultation at your property. We discuss your vision, take detailed measurements, and understand how you use your space. From there, we create custom designs tailored entirely to your needs. You choose every element, from the layout and storage options to finishes and lighting. We refine the design together until it’s exactly right, then handle the complete installation.

What size TV should I choose for a media wall?
TV size depends on your viewing distance and room layout. As a general guide, you want to sit approximately 1.5 to 2.5 times the screen diagonal away from your TV. For a 55-inch screen, that’s around 2 to 2.3 metres. For a 65-inch, roughly 2.5 to 2.7 metres. During your consultation, we’ll help you determine the ideal size based on your specific space and seating arrangement.

Can I hide devices within a media wall?
Absolutely. Hiding Sky boxes, gaming consoles, and other equipment is a key benefit of custom media walls. We design hidden cupboards with proper ventilation to house your devices out of sight. Cable management is built in from the start, so wires stay completely concealed. You get clean lines and easy access when you need it, without the visual clutter.

21st Century Home Conversion
The owners of this lovely character home in Huddersfield were interested in renovating and converting their cellar. After discussing their ideas, they wanted to update multiple areas of their home, at once.

A Kitchen in Need of a Refresh
The brief was to look at designing a new kitchen. The current kitchen was very small and dated with an old-style pantry taking up a large amount of space. Our fact find with the clients highlighted that ideally, the whole kitchen and dining room space would become one social space.

initial meeting
The first step in the process is to understand exactly what you want to achieve in your home (including the drive and reasons for carrying out the work). We ask questions, you get ideas and inspiration and together we understand exactly what you want, why and how we will make it happen. design, feasibility & working plans
The next step is to translate the brief into your concept and understand the feasibility of what you would like to build. We will discuss your project to identify constraints and challenges and explore bringing solutions to the table to determine the feasibility. At this point, we will provide estimates based on typical costs for such a project.

brief & project kick-off
Your project manager will be introduced and a site meeting scheduled. Everyone will be briefed on the agreed time scale along with specific elements you may have brought up. On start day it’s advisable you are present. We will always strive to meet your expectations, however, the progress of your project may differ depending on the type of work being carried out. Regular updates of our development will be provided.

completion
The happy day will arrive when you won’t see us every day (well, not until your next project!). The council building inspector (he/she will have been to site previously) will give the final sign-off. Any outstanding balances will be due at this time.
